I really need to teach Ash how to listen out for the answering machine. That way, I can call while I'm on my way home from work, and he could get me a glass of wine and have it ready for me the moment I walk in the door...

However, I guess the whole 'opposable thumbs' thing becomes an issue.

After staring at spreadsheets and colored file folders all day, I'm just going to curl up in a hot bath and indulge in some ice cream for dinner.

Somewhere amongst the piles of paperwork on my desk, is my day planner. The thought of spending my Monday morning tearing apart my office to find it makes my headache In order to find it, I guess I'm going to have to dump a bunch of work in Kira's inbox- again.

The week long training seminar I attended was a complete waste of time... and company money. I hope the hotel bar bill falls under some category of business expense.

Rumor has it that my boss actually made an appearance in the building while I was gone. I wonder if anyone got visual evidence on the security system... 'cause I've gotta see this.

It might have been the bottle of sake I consumed, but I swear that Ash and I had an in-depth conversation the other night. Maybe I need to stop by the medical department for an evaluation.

I had an... interesting lunch the other day with Hinamori. I think I might be one of the few people that knows what she's doing for her 'side-job'. One thing is true, if Hitsugaya found out what she was doing- he'd be less than pleased.

All of the post-it notes have been taken down from our office. I don't know, now it looks empty and I can never find a post-it when I need one.

I didn't get to see Nanao off, since her plane headed out at some ungodly hour. Has anyone heard from her? That time change can be a bitch... or so I've heard.

I've got to finalize the plans for this weekend.

I'm glad to finally have my laptop back... it only took the guys at the computer store 3 weeks to get it back to me. Next time, I'll find someone else to do the work on it.

Is anyone up for lunch later this week? Nanao? Hinamori? Shunsui? Anyone?

The weather man is calling for rain on Valentine's Day. Bad Omen.

I let Ash out yesterday and he hasn't returned home yet. He's never been gone this long before. I'm going to go look for him before I head out for the day. Maybe he's curled up with the Calico next door.

Somehow, I've almost made it through the work week. If anyone sees my boss, please sit on him and/or time him to a chair and have me paged immediately. And who left the coffee in the pot again? We are not growing science projects in the office, guys.

I had no idea we had a company bulletin board, but I can't say that it isn't amusing to walk by and see the notes. Someone seems to be Ms. Popularity lately, wouldn't you agree, Nanao? Oh, when did you want to go dress shopping? I'm free tomorrow night and Saturday night. Let me know. Tell me again how you blackmailed me into attending this event. You better pay up.

Hinamori- If you want to still go out, let's pick a date after V-day. That should give me enough time to set up an appointment with Anthony so we can go through the dresses. He's a great guy with a KEEN fashion sense. I trust him completely.

I'm happy to say the week is finally over. Who would have thought so much could have gotten thrown into 5 days.

-Lunch with Shunsui.
-Fight with Hitsugaya.
-Drinks with Nanao.
-Kurosaki fixed my computer. (yes, everyone will get paid on time.)
-Donated blood.

It might not seem like a look, but some of those were emotionally draining. I'm looking forward to my shopping 'appointment' with Nanao this weekend.

Next week proves just as interesting.

I came in this morning to find a post-it note on my computer. It was a note from Gin, reminding me to sign up for the Winter Blood Drive. Seems like Kenpachi's 'campaign' to get everyone to sign up is working...

Does anyone know when Kurosaki is coming back from his conference? Someone remotely logged into my computer last night and I'm getting error messages all over the place. I've already been through all the folders and files. It doesn't seem like anything has been changed, overwritten or deleted, but it still bothers me. If When Gin makes it in this morning, I'll mention it to him as well.

I need to finish putting together the 'Employee Evaluation' packets for the department heads by the end of this week. Kira seems to be taking a page from my book and slacking off. I haven't seen him in a few days... I wonder where he's hiding.

My meeting with Gin didn't end up going anywhere. I walked into his office only to find that he was out- again. It seems that something came up, some emergency, and he had to cancel the meeting... without telling me. No word yet if he's going to re-schedule it. I think I'll just wait for him to come and find me. He knows where my desk is.

That reminds me- the yearly reviews are coming up. I need to make sure to send them out to all department heads before the end of the month. Maybe I should send myself an email so I don't forget.

I got a little nostalgic today and pulled out a box of my old things. I'm not sure if it's funny or sad that most of my life can be packed away in just three boxes. I found a couple of pictures of Short Shit when he was a kid. I need to know if Hinamori needs any blackmail material on him. I came across an old file folder with some information that would probably be of help to a friend.

I heard I missed some fireworks at the Christmas party. Maybe next year I'll stick around longer to see what happens- though from the second hand reports I got, it seems like the bartenders had to go out and get more stuff for the open bar. I need to see if anyone got any photographic evidence.

I didn't move much from my desk today and was able to get the rest of the report that Aizen wanted done- ahead of schedule; which surprises me, considering I couldn't put two thoughts together without a marching band stomping through my head. I'll spend tomorrow finalizing everything just to make sure that I didn't screw things up too much.

Yes, I was present for the 'scene' at Harry's last night. Shunsui did what he had to do, so, cut the chairman some slack, k?

Some days it pays to do some work.

I got in early this morning... Yah, I know shock of all shocks. Now I just need to wait until the crowd is gone and sneak down to the cafe for some coffee.... the stuff the Gin brews tastes like battery acid. >.<

I caught Byakuya talking to Renji in the hallway. Could the man have a more monotone voice? Blah-blah-blah-submit-the-report-blah-blah-blah. Blah-blah-set-up-the-press-conference-blah. Blah-blah-my-arm-was-just-cut-off-blah-blah. Poor Renji. Though, I've decided to suck up my pride and talk to him the next chance I get. I'm pretty sure that a trip to the dentist would be less painful.

I figured since I made it in (at all) today, that I'd go ahead and start working on the reports that Aizen wanted from the department. It seems simple enough, and the sooner I get it off my desk, the sooner I can go back to my normal routine. Somethings kinda off with that guy. I mean, he's a smooth talker and a complete charmer, but I don't know... Something is just 'off' with him. Not to mention that Gin found out I was doing something for Aizen... It's just a matter of time before the shit hits the fan or he asks me to stay late again for those damn TPS reports.

Hitsugaya has been avoiding me, so I'll have to take up matters with Hinamori the next time I see her.

Today was another LONG day... well, I was an hour late and then after a strange meeting with Aizen, I managed to sneak out of the building without a second glance. (Ugh, more work!) Which is a good thing too, since I almost ran into You-Know-Who in the hallway. We've been avoiding each other like the plague, though I think I'm just going to have to break the silence, since he seems so good at it and doesn't have any desire to either.

As for some of the latest company gossip, no one knows who put up that 'interesting' picture of Kira on the bulletin board. Hmm... that's a shame. :)

I've also heard some 'talk' about Hitsu... seems he's been having Aizen's secretary take 'dictation' when she was needed for more important things. I'm really going to have to pull that boy aside and give him a talking to. There's a time and a place for that sort of thing- And it's not in your own office!
